WHO IS THE BOOTCAMP FOR?
Anyone wishing to lose weight, get fit, tone up, look great and feel great! You should have a sense of adventure and a love of the great outdoors!
DO I NEED A CERTAIN LEVEL OF PHYSICAL FITNESS TO TAKE PART?
You should have a basic level of fitness. If you are at all unsure, please speak to Lesley before booking your place.
ACCOMMODATION:
Here is an example of one of our bases for the boot camp, at the foot of Hellvellyn in the Ullswater Valley above Glenridding.
Situated at 1000 feet, you will be provided with warm and comfortable accommodation.
Converted from the former Greenside mine buildings, the solid stone building is the perfect base to access some of the most exhilarating routes in the Lake District such as Hellvellyn and Striding Edge.
We do have a number of buildings in various parts of the Lake District that we use as a base and the above is a typical example.
TRANSPORT TO AND FROM THE LAKE DISTRICT
You will be picked up in a mini bus from the designated meeting point on the Friday evening of your Boot Camp, (normally about 6 pm).We leave the Lake District for the return journey on the Sunday at approximately 3 pm, where you will be dropped of again at the designated point.
KIT LIST:
• Two pairs of outdoor trainers• 1 pair of walking boots/shoes – (this does not have to be an expensive pair of walking boots. Adequate boots are available to purchase from most outward bounds shops, starting at approximately £25 - £30)

• Swimming Costume
• Hat & Gloves
• Warm Clothing suitable for outdoor activity
• Plenty of "workout" kit
• Two towels – one for training and one for the bathroom • Waterproof Jacket

• Toiletries, including sun protection lotion and insect repellent
• Day rucksack
• Pillow and pillow case

ACTIVITIES:
The majority of activities will take place outdoors. We would like to keep an element of surprise about the activities that you will participate in, but please be prepared to be challenged both physically and mentally!
Our main objective is to burn body fat whilst getting fit in a healthy and safe environment. Activities have been carefully planned to ensure a jam packed weekend and give you the opportunity to try out new activities that you never thought you would do. Developing new friendships with your fellow camp mates that last long after the Boot Camp is also very important to us.
